Krisboats
Agreed with the dudes who said 'Darker Colours', too bright. I'm colourblind and a lot of the blues look white on here, its not until I piss about with colours on my monitor can I notice it.Which means that its hard to distinguish from one post to the next (although exaggerating slightly), so a darker shades (greys blacks) or even a darker shade of blue would suffice - colourblind friendly website Also, more posts per page! (unless thats a personal option in the control panel?)It is indeed mines set to the maximum i can have, seems weird when people say its on the second/ third page of a topic though and i can only see one.I think keep the layout essentially the same, maybe move the login section to being more centralised on the page in the same section as the [forum, gallery, calender, search... etc] bit.Definately more contrast between the shades of colour, these slightly different colours all over the place do my head in, not figuratively speaking... if i look at the edges of the boxes or the edge of the pages it actually gives me a bit of a headache.Might as well have all the clickable smilies in the little box, theres only a few more so it'd mean an extra column and maybe 2-3 rows more, saves opening up that little window when you want them.Bring back mulitple quotes? might not be the layout but i preferred not having to reply to one post, copy the text, go back a page, and reply to the other then paste the text and move the /quote bit.Can we have slightly larger avatars maybe? Not a lot but some of them are a bit hard to make out, maybe instead of 90x90 have say 120x120 or 130x130. Not a big increase but enough to be pleasurably noticable. With the actual member details, maybe bold text to define the details for example:group: members as opposed to.... group: membersAnd maybe a subtle line to divide up the space between the member details and the actual text of the post, just to neaten it up a bit.Thats about it i reckon. Are you thinking of just one skin for the forum or a couple of slightly different ones so people can choose, as not everyone likes the same thing which is obvious by all the mixed opinions people are having with these ideas.EDIT: Just realised most of the suggestions i made are present in the current "alternative" forum skin. Still not got larger avatars though Edited November 20, 2006 by Krisboats
PaRtZ
how about a trials skin with KMC chain separating each post? lolYeah probably darker but i really like the current style so meh dont mind really, Ill get used to it whatever colour it is
Bendee
something ive thought tf should have for ages is when you hover your mouse over a topic you should make it so you can read the first few lines of the post like otn for example because we all know somepeople are reetards and cant seem to name there topics properly and it would save alot of time waiting for pages to load.other than that i think everything is fine. yoyoyo
The skin HAS TO be recoded from scratch so i thought while i'm at it we might as well change a few things. Why do i sense a lot of downtime. But i like it the way it is. Perfect in my eyes. But i'll get used to anything if it changes.

Danny
Why do i sense a lot of downtime. We wont upgrade till the new skin is finished .Cant see more than an hours downtime in the whole upgrade.

tomturd
I reckons something less fussy. As has been said, more web 2.0 (how cheesey is that). Square corners, solid colours etc

JT!
Just me being completely anal. But, trials chat, FS/WTD, rides and news are under the heading 'full members'. the rest (bar chit-chat) is under trials media, and then chit-chat has it's own heading. To the unknowing new member, it would seem that all the trials media sections and chit chat are available to post in before validation. So maybe the heading for trials chat and fs/wtd etc just needs to be altered, to what i don't know, but not 'full members....like it matters. Greetings
When I joined this forum there were two colour schemes. I far preferred the dark one as it didn't make the eyes hurt as much. Generally I'm more in favor of dark colours when it comes to themes and skins.Don't go into colours, definitely don't make them stronger. A mild page is much nicer to read. I'd very much like to see the dark skin back.If any other colours were to be introduced, I'd fancy these:

Walleee
Danny, Counties in Northern Ireland are Generally listed as 'county xxxxx' Every county in the list for over here follows that rule EXCEPT the one im in!!!! Can this be changed? Anyone I know here, allways add's the 'county' before the actual name....... Very good idea otherwise, I've sent people from ireland PM's before only to find they are at the other end of the country.....EDIT: The area under avatars is starting to look a bit cluttered too IMO, how about removing either member number or the joined date as they essentially tell you the same sort of thing (how long a person has been here) and post count wasn't included before was it??
