T-OM
I ripped the thread out of my Onza Muscleman crank when i was trying to fit a freewheel a few weeks ago, i ended up having to take it to a bike shop and had to pay 15 quid to get it put on. i don't want to have that problem again so i was thinking that i would buy an arm puller so that i can get my crank arm off when ever i want so basically i want to no what size i should get and where i can get it (websites). Alun Goch
Thats a universal puller, i.e non bike specific. The link posted earlier is specifically for bikes, which would be better ideally as they're smaller and easier to use in my opinion. You mentioned stripping the threads in your crank though, if it's the female thread in the same hole as where you bolt the crank on, then the bike specific pullers wont work obviously, and yes you'll need one similar to the one you found. But, it'll only be able to remove the drive side crank, and you'll have to get one that fits your bashring (assuming you have one) snugly so as it doesn't bend/get damaged.Hope this helps,Alun
Fixed Pants™
Bleh! All this kerfuffel when you could just pop down to th'Halfords and get a bikehut one for 8/9 quid, work fine and you only need an adjustable jo anna (spanner). Problem sorted. Oh and any size will do as long as you haven't got a really obscure crank and BB. Edited November 20, 2006 by Fat Pants

Tom Perkins
I would go for the rubber mallet then. They should come off then.
Fixed Pants™
OOOOHHHHH Sorry about my post then, i'm obviosuly blonde...Twat it really hard, remember to spray a fair bit of wd40 inside it to make it a bit harder, or just ride it without the bolts in and it should come loose but you could risk f**king the BB.
