johnbackhouse
Hi all,I'm 40, not fit and haven't ridden a trials bike in 20 years. In those years I've moved from Yorkshire to Leicester and know nothing about the trials scene down here.Does anybody know of any clubs in the area which have a novices section? And is there anywhere I can practice? (Short of going back and forth over my wife's car in the drive.)Any help would be gratefully received.Thank you,John

(take the car to halfords or something.....and.... remove the pallets for them )max...

F-Stop Junkie
Places of local interest are bradgate park: naturalI really wouldn't ride Bradgate Park, especially when it's busy! The wardens have the power to confiscate bikes, and they have in the past. The forest next door is ok though. There's a motorcycle trials club in Earl Shilton who's name escapes me at the moment, and they have a great practise ground for natural. It's not a lot to join for the facilities you get! I've spoken to them before about having biketrials riders as members, and they're quite happy to take us!Earl Shilton Trials ClubWelcome to the forum John! One of them said if little kids can run and climb over them i dont see why you can't ride your bikes over the rocks. Some of them get arsy but even then the most they do is politely ask us to not do it or go to swithland woods... the place up the road. F-Stop Junkie
maybe we could drag you out mr Ratcliffe! polish that old levelboss off, don the helmet and gloves and show us some tricks Urm, the only thing I could teach you Pat is how to wobble about and fall off. Would be good to get riding again, except I don't live in Leicester any more... Not far off though...
