joy yellows seem to wear down to fast, but have excelent bit and hold, work well in the wet too.

Joy Blues have AMAZING hold, LOADS of bite and last aaaages, seem to work pretty well in the wet too. They are harder to make though, at the mo I am trying to source some easier to make compound.

Joy pad's are awesome. ;) The yellow pad's from ali c seem to wear down fast when you first get them,However after a week of using them they are wearing down very slow. For the best performance from them,Is to run a booster and get a fresh grind. (Y) They have a very very good lock and are a wee' loud. :) I might get the joy blue's though,Alistair told me they have a smaller wear rate.P.s There £10 from ali. (Y)

snowys are awesome, took 2 1/2 months to wear down, bit too quick for my liking. but they were loud (Y) which is always a happy bonus.

counstsinks are pretty amazing, very loud, super lock, super bite.

coust pads- plastic backings- silent, locked well, bite was pretty poor, but did the job

i want joy pads

ok, just want to confirm that I am going to do a batch of blues this next week, stock will be very limited so if you want some you will have to get in quick. (possibly 18 pairs)

I owe nickyw some blues cos I am not happy that they wore fast, if anyone else used the yellows and were not happy with wear rate, let me know and I'll send some blues.

Coust pads set up straight, with a sharp grind. Last over 6 months!

They work in the wet and dry, only the noise changes.

They take about 1 day or 2 to bed in propa. Don't drag them too much, 'cos it will over heat them, distorting the polymers ( changing what they are).

Snowys work well in the dry, and ok in the wet. Just when they get soaked, they don't work as well.

Go for the Cousts for this time of year, and they'll last you till early summer!

Never got on with my cousts!

They started off working well and the performace of them just kept deteriorating till the were useless.seemed to have a butt load of bite no hold at all.

so i sold them of to bob87 above who loved them.

i'm running rock reds at the moment, there really soft and are wearing quickly, but perform immensely.

You should give a try to the Plaz PMG, not CRM, they basicly look the same, but are not !, have a lot of bites and hold, on a grind, wet or dry ? meh, same braking power, was very happy to see that, I even made a small vid with them when it was fully raining outside !, crazy how my rear brake was awesome, I seriously recommend them, only downside is that they it takes some time to bed in.., but just drag it down a hill, not too long though, and they have always been fine for me (Y)
