coolbeen
I am just asking how do you like your gearing. Do you like it when it is easy to kick or when it is hard a bit to kick. Because I had 22:18 and that was hard then I tried 18:16 and that was really easy to kick, so how do you like it.

RobinJI
20:16 will be harder than 22:18The way to work it out is to divide the front sprocket by the rear sprocket, i.e. 22/18=1.222The higher the number the harder it will be to kick, 20:16 would be 20/16=1.25 wich is harder than 1.222Your current geering is 18/16=1.125So you want a number between 1.125 and 1.222A few examples of geering you could run:18/15=1.220/17=1.17616/14=1.

kid creole
does engagement points effect how stiff the gearing feels ? because i have a try-all freewheel and the same gear ratio I'm used to 18:14 feels stiffer now all thou i have had 18;16 for a short time in between so it could be i got used to that but i remember 18:14 being lighter before i had this freewheel.
