Urban legend.
Soo basically i was wondering what is the deal with these new Echo rims? Are they still like cheddar or are they ''strong'' as always promised by Echo?My rear wheel was built onto an Echo 2006 rim and has deformed in every way shape or form i.e. egged, buckled and split. And this cant be down to bad maintenance as i always keep my spokes tensioned and im not a savage rider,i am getting there but certainly no 10 fot gap drops and what not,so its not going through that much punishment.Just interested really on peoples opinions and so on........Craig
huge
I recntly got a echo 2007 rear rim. They have a different profile to them and have smaller holes drilled in them. Seems much stronger. They seem to be holding a grind pretty well too. The 2006 ones just seem plain weak to me, Ive seen them bend badly on quite small gaps.
