mancfred
hey there all. i'm on a keen hunt for a bargain bike and i've found an orange zero and an onza t rex both fairly cheap and both seem in good condition. i'm about 6ft1, about 12 stone, any recomendations as to which i should go for?cheersfred
Onza Kieron
I won't say much, I know both bikes your on about and I say go for the Onza because it will last, the Oranges were subject to twisting.
Phil H
Onza mate (I've got a T-Rex) - strong, reliable, trusted, respected a very good trials specific brand as most will agree.Phil
adamtrials
What year t-rex? If its 2005+ then go for that, otherwise i'd go for the Zero.
Fixed Pants™
Oranges are beast but not so much for trials, i'd go for onza as Phil said: strong, reliable, trusted, respected a very good trials specific brand as most will agree. And they're more popular = easier to get parts.
Tom Perkins
Get the t-rex. There very strong and ride nice.
Passy
I would have the t-rex if i were you because they feel loads more comfy and the orange is a bit crammed up wen you ride it. And the t-rex are strong and a good price.

Wright Pads
Orange also is not really that trialsy. They snap, crack, twist, bend Onza T-rx a is trials frame, strong, stiff, look good with a new paint job or polished, ride really nice. Oh ligher too! Only down side shes uses an internal headset but it looks good enough!Pete
David Biddle™
isnt there also somthin u need for the bottom bracket like a spacer its listed on tartybikes discription i belive
Wright Pads
Oh yeah even with a 128mm axled BB you''ll need 1/2 spacers to push the bb out more so the chainring clears the BB/CS yoke! Recommended BB size for 22T chainring: 73x128mm, with a 2.5mm drive side BB spacer. Edited November 9, 2006 by Wright Pads
David Biddle™
my mate had the same problem but he only used one spacer on the drive side and seems ok
