RobinJI
Yeah, if the airbag had gone off you'd be more pissed off than with it not going off. Not only does it cost extra to get it put back, but one of my mates crashed his 306 in a similar way (hit a concrete post, well sewage pipe, at 30) and the airbag went off and just gave him two black eyes and covered him in white shit. When his girlfriend in the passenger side without one was fine! (He I know drives like a tit, but I can't do a lot about it personally)As for the moped guy. I can get why you have a moped, but you cant really complain about insurance being put up. People crashing mopeds purely because of them being a shit unsafe design put up insurance just as much. Doesn't matter if its a £500 moped, crash into a £50000 merc and it still costs the insurance company £50500, kill yourself hitting the merc and it'll cost them more like £1050500. Not having a go, just saying, accidents can be just that, an 'accident' there not always recklessness. And yeah, insurance is effected a lot by theft. I will have to pay £200 more than mate I know for the same car at the same age etc.. just because I live on a council estate and they live in a nicer area.
