luke_onza
If we all keep NMC about trials then eventually every question is goner get asked. How are people supposed to post a really good topic if it all has to be about trials? I know some people can post good topics e.g. Wright pads, trailer lee and python man. However if you are new to trials then all you may be limited to ask is what’s your favourite thing to ride or something along those lines. As far as I know this site is also a place to make friends not enemies. If some one post something really crap like “that’s a nice bike mate” and people complain about it been pointless, but that mite be all they could say because they don’t know anything else about the bike.I am not trying to make excuses’ for every pointless post but a small majority of it may be along those lines. I don’t want it to be like chit chat forum but something along those lines. This way everyone has a chance to shine. If I have upset any body then am really sorry but I think more people would be happy if the mods changed the rules just a little bit. This way we hopefully wont see as many pointless post and topics. yoyoyo
It doesn't.Notice how it's New Members Chat. Not New Members Trials Chat. Edit: But don't go overboard and turn this into chit chat. But the occasional topic doesn't have to be about trials. spode@thinkbikes
Yes, but the pre-members idea stops all the pointless posts and inane homosexual banter!Oh, wait. I see what you mean.

luke_onza
I don’t mean let people put topics on how to bake a cake or something like that. What I mean is like stuff on computers and cars and so on. I feel that it would give people more chance to shear there knowledge.Luke
crazy_gap girl
Its new members chat so it can be about anything not just trials....its just no ones smart enough to go and post something interesting. The actual new members will ask stupid questions...as the not so new members will know abit more. its just how it works. Maybe have a most commonly asked questions in a sticky? - Either way you will ALWAYS get the same old story.

MadManMike
how come pete is still only aloud to post in here? also how come forsale and wanted topics arnt aloud in here?lukePete - that's a long story. To cut it short he annoyed everyone and threatened to sue the forum (lol!)For Sale & Wanted - I assume it's because members that aren't well known by others are more likely to scam someone and dissapear unlike someone like me that's been on here for 4+ years. anzo
Post something creative like, 'Wotz you highest side hop?' or 'what color guz wi me bike?'.Joking aside, I support the validation 100%, I can see why some people get pissed about not being members, I however got validated on my first ever post. A genuine question about maguras, and some guy recommended me for validation.Although to be fair, I find in NMC that people start off well(ish) and don't get noticed, and then quickly lose interest for trying to put on a good impression, although 95% are spastics anyway If you can't think of a topic, make a something else, not all topics have to be questions! Try reviewing something (but make it worth while and decent otherwise people will rip it to peices, for example don't review a dustcap).OR try making a step-by-step guide, again, use your own photos and give good guidence. DO NOT DO THE TPA BODGE! and don't steal other peoples work.

Expect An honest answer. And if possible try to be the one who makes the good honest answer, this is how to become a good member, good honest advise. JT!
Why? do members take the michael out of new members, because we were all new members once.Adam Becuase there's some gits on this forum.I personally think validation and no fs/wtd threds should be dropped, and a shag load more mods. But not many others share my views. You can post what you like in new members, within reason.
