Joey B
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! you forgot about the anodised bottom brackets and levers that are available Nah don't look to bad. but i'm more interested on how the beast rides Joey B Edited November 7, 2006 by fugigas
dwarrick
dont worry the bb is a tryall so its green too.it ride alot different that the older team. i find the front end harder to get up, it almost feels lower, but its just the fact the bike is alot longer. its really smooth for wheel swaps and sidehops thou. ramps
Seems a lot of people don't like the use of so much colour, in a way i can understand it but yet it looks good, i like new anodised shiny bits but when they get ol they tend to look a bit off somehow compared to silver things of the same age, looks sweet as though at the minute. Mr Plod
I like it. Maybe I wouldn't have gone with the green but everyone to their own Just got a question about the rear rim. Did you use a stanley knife and just go around it scratching a notch into the sidewall? If so how heavy was you when doing it and whats the brake like after doing it? The reason I ask is because I'm running an Echo 07 rim on my pitbull and I haven't had it grinded yet and was thinking of doing something like this...Anywho... Looks lovely and hope you enjoy riding it
future orange 660
technically the bike is mint. but i will just have to go with what everyone else has said about the excessive green.
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Looks poop.lol, sowwie, but it really does...WAYYYYY too much green!
dwarrick
yea i just took a utility knife and scored the rear rim. you don't have to put too much force into it, and the main reason i did it was because i didn't want to grind the rim but i was waiting on my pads so i only had the stock black maggies. worked ok with black pads but with softer ones it works really well, and you still get a coloured sidewall. Adrian
i reckon it looks okay, it just stands out so much all the chavs and stuff are going to love it, and i think all silver components would look the tits on 1 of those frames

mods
sliced it with an xacto knife. gives the rim a bit of bite when you are using soft padssorry but not it doesn't. I know someone who did that, it was rubbish, just grind it
sUm
sorry but not it doesn't. I know someone who did that, it was rubbish, just grind it Sorry but yes it does. I know you're just expressing your opinion but the fact is that it works. Maybe not as well as a grind but that's debatable.
mods
In my experience it doesn't make any difference, did he try the same pads before and after?.. prob not, and no it's not debateble whether it's better than a grind.
