JT!
Can't you ajust the disc calipers position? Edited November 5, 2006 by JT!
-onza-rider-
you might need an extension adaptor as the rotor could be too big....

Wright Pads
Probs need some shims, little washers! Also if the frame has solts in the disc mount will need to move the caliper. Simple stuff

ted
When you say rubbing do you mean just a quiet 'pffft' sound every second or so as you ride it? Because it its that the there isnt anything to worry about. The disk brakes on all my mountain bikes do it and it means that the caliper is just slightly out of line. This isn't a big problem. If the rubbing is more serious then i suggest you take it to a bike shop because it'll be hard to determine the problem from pictures alone. JT!
Ah well if it's rubbing on the side of the disc (as in it's off center), it can be easily solved by washers in between the caliper and the mount to put it back in alignment. It's impossible to explain just by typing, but dig out your hope mono trial instructions that'll have come with the bike.
Wright Pads
If you haven't the manual you can download it off Hope's website, you'll need Adobe acrobat, just google for it if you don't. The doc off Hope is a PDF file!
