MadManMike
I haven't read the thread - but I seriously suggest the Harman Kardon Soundsticks.Very nice and only about £100 most places now.
blinky
i just wired my comp up to my hifi, the extra amplification from the computer really pushes the speakers a lot better. theyre only 150 watts each but they'll shake the whole room
br3n
£200 5.1 system will sound better than £200 worth of amp and speakers. unless u get a complete bargain (talking rrp here not 2nd hand)
HarshRider
im going to be wiring up some 6*9 car speakers as a cheap method of pc speakers! should be alright!
bikerdude2006fr
Got this sub (friend *borrowed* it from school for me ) linked in a 4.1 setup with 2 of the little speakers giving rear surround sound and 2 big 40w aiwa speakers (taken from parents ols stereo) taking up the front positions in the surround sound. Now that setup makes the whole 8 bedroom house pulse at full whack Would reccomend the sub because you have a radio too! Bonus! And a very good setup for costing absolutly nothing
