Simpson
if you are running just water then yes there is a chance of the brakes freezing and because the brake doesnt have a resevior when the water expands in the hosing it CAN cause the hosing to crack. In a shed yes i would worry if my brakes were bled with water..... but in most bricked garages they should be ok - my friend complained about his brakes freezing up on late night rides...easyiest solution is to re-bleed through with water mixed about half and half with anti freeze which lowers the freezing point of the water in your hosing.... means your brakes wont freeze and also because its about the same viscosity your lever pull and the way it reacts will be very similar to just pure water
ted
If you have water in the brakes it will. But if you are using oil in them then i think it would be ok

samo
they shouldn't do if you are using oil but if u bleed them with water put some anti freez in
Rich Pearson
If you have water in the brakes it will. But if you are using oil in them then i think it would be ok Unless the temperature drops to about -80C. Then your screwed. Rich
