Hey i dont have them myself but they look like great forks.

Oversized/Fatter Steerer making the fork stronger agaist snapping the steerer.

Also the reverse maggy mounts make them structuraly stonger as the force is pushing against the mounts not pulling on them. ( also some say this gives better brakeing power )

Reverse mount's are terribly noisey, I got rid of my koxx forxxx for that reason, also when using a grind on the front and very grabby pad's they hinder modulation and you can actually feel vibrations through the bars.

But they look great (Y);)

If you run a smooth front rim it might be ok but I got annoyed with the noise fairly quickly, I was running coust's on the back though and basically had no brake's that could slow me down gradually, it was either all or nothing.

I got a front disk which is obviously silent and has both modulation and bite and i'm now happy enough with my brake set0up, untill I get enough cash to go full disk of course!

I ride a monty 221pr, and use a louise FR disk on't front. I think it's great and feels better than any hope's i've used but I think that's due to them being set-up badly rather than being generally shit.

Definately better than maggie's on the front I think as it can be hard to modulate them effectively when using certain pad/rim combinations.

Cheap, Light, Strong.

Pick two.

EDIT: yes, I got my disc for exactley the same reason as you, wanting to try more move's to front, obviously it doesn't make yuo better, but it gives me the confidence to go for it.

You'd be hard pushed to find an aluminium fork that doesn't flex to some degree.

If they flex while he ride's along flat then it's a problem, but for hook's/tap's and such it can come in handy for a bit of extra bounce.
