Hope Pro 2 Spacing

Just out interest

What would be the point in making his chris king fit the mod spacing Pitbull?

Why not just get the stock Pitbull?

Was it just simply for a very small changes in the frame like the "Short 1065mm, Long 1100mm" instead of the 1090mm on the stock. If this is the reason then surely he could have either;

1: Get a bmx chris king

2: Get Deng to make the farme with a slightly diffrent geo in the first place.

Thanks

Probably because he could only get the 116mm and would have to wait (like the rest of us did) to get his hands on a stock spaced frame.

1. Would you like to buy it for him then? :turned:

2. If he rode a frame with different geo to the production model it doesn't say very much for it. Meaning less sales for ZOO!. Not to mention producing a single custom frame for Neil would be much more expensive than batch producing loads for HoD.

Nope they are differnt, look same outside but differnt threads, looking closer at that it's confusing to what it is!

Driver shell can;t be gorund down as it has needle race bearings in the drive.

Tomrorw i'll post a pic of a hub i cut up showing you the gubbing of a chris king!

Even thought you say you know all this s**t about computers you can't for the life of you :

1. Use a spellcheck function.

2. Press one key at a time.

And to help you i have highlighted mis-spelled words and in-correct punctuation.

I'd love to see this!

Your telling me his what bent the frame out by 25mm, 12.5mm ether side of the dropouts to make this work?

Bending steal frames is hard enough, bending an alloy one is tought!!!

Hmm somewhat i think NOT 135mm-116mm=19mm so that is 9.5mm each side actually.

In opete's defense he is referring to Monty spacing of 110mm, all the other manufacturers seem to use 116 spacing. I guess being the industry guru pete is he should have known that, but it's an easy mistake to make.

Sadly for mod spacing now there is no set std spacing. 110mm is the refered one and then with tensioners pending styles of them and the frame spacing can be 116mm!

A driver shell used on a single speed or bmx will fit a classic or iso shell.

He may have one but looking the only pic we have in this topic it shows a lot of spacers and i'd say thats a std MTB drive shell.

He couldn;t of ground that due to the bearings but also cassette locking ring!

Jake, what you do for a living...school, 6th form, college? Till you get off you ass into the real world and work and see ho important life is and to get things done and this forum here not really it i sugest you shut it!

I used the spell checker just on this one post! I beat it a lot as it did not come up with anything!

dudes this all like... jus chill out lol, but i to have seen that neil is using a chris king stock hub in the back of his mod pitbull

Well - I've looked at the pics on Neil's site, and they're not very clear on the drive side, but on the non-drive side he seems to have done without the axle-end piece altogether - you can see it in any online store pic and its clear from the parts sheet here (see top left) that Neil isn't using it!

Pete, its not a competition, spell checkers are there to help you. They're not evil things that are trying to show you up.

So you managed to type all that without making an incorrect spelling? Seems like you've cured your apparantly severe dyslexia that you had ;):lol::P

I don't reckon it really matters, he ground the ends a bit, squeezed it in and it works. Thats all there is to it. We even have pictures for those who didnt beleive.
