Ozonys
Do I relay need these ? Will they make a huge difference in riding ?
N.Wood
A rear HS33 will certainly improve riding if it is alot better than you currently have (changing from a rear Hope Mini to a HS33 improved my riding no end).HOWEVER: This is not to say a HS33 is the be all and end all. Hope mono trials/avid bb7 disks work well if you have a suitable frame/hub, or a well set up, decent quality V brake will work just as well. ted
Only change your brakes if your current ones are holding you back e.g. slipping. Edited October 30, 2006 by ted
5.0 Rider
If you want to have fun. You have to set up your Maggie very well, and put the right pads in. It should work fine, but an another good choice are Vee´s!No oil-no problems Edited October 30, 2006 by 5.0 Rider
La Bourde
Have you already trouble with your Magura's brake ?The magura brakes are reliable, and they don't need a particular care!!!You set your Magura's brake up, you ride, you ride, you change the pads sometimes and readjust them, and after a two years cycles you bleed the system (it's not difficult).I find that V brakes require often to be adjusted, instead of the Magura. ben finn
I use magura hs33s and i admit they can be a pain in the back side, on the otherhand though they can be brilliant. It all depends on how you set up the brakes, v's can be just as good and also hold brilliant
