_skj0lsvik_
I would have bought a formula oro k18 180mm if I were you.
Orgun_Donor
Magura Julie, enough bite for front wheel locking, but more modulation then most. The hope are very onand off brkes, no real modulation.

Dan6061
Avid BB7 160mm. Got one on the front of my mod, and it's perfect. Wiggle. £62.99 - I got mine from here, with the free delivery (2-5days?) and it came next day. Keep in mind this is only the rotor and caliper, Cables, and lever will have to be bought speratley. darrenhopper
Personally, I'm not a fan of anything Formula make. I rode one for a bit & couldn't stick it. Have a few mates who ride them & every time I work on their bikes the brakes are the biggest problem.Hope all the way! Great brake, great aftersales, fantastically easy to service & get spares for. Dan6061
Yea the BB7 is a great choice. ted
Do the ones from CRC not come with cables or lever? If not, which lever would you suggest
Zordon
BB7 because (comparing to hope) it's much cheaper, has at least the same bite and power, much more adjustable, less flexy and, finally, you'll never have to rebleed it, a new cable and you're sorted I would recommend an xtr or ultimate lever. However, an xt or sd7 should be fine too. Edited October 27, 2006 by zordon
laurent
First thanks guys for all these answers. But I DON'T WANT TO BUY AN AVID BB7.Because i heve to buy a lever for it...and it will be as expensive as the deals described at the top.I just want to know if Hope mono trial 160 mm can be as poweful as the formula oro 180mm?Thanks again. joetrials06
I'd go for the hope its so powerful and has got quite a bit of modulation if you set it up right. My mate had a formula and the lever fell apart about a month after he got it, it didn't stick well either.
