anzo Posted October 26, 2006 Report Share Posted October 26, 2006 (edited) Righto,Restart your computer,Press F8 about a billion time justing the POST screens,This will bring up the boot menu,Select 'Safe Mode' and click enter, this will sign into the account with no password needed,You can change the password in safe mode (hopefully!) Danny Posted October 26, 2006 Report Share Posted October 26, 2006 At the login screen hit ctrl+alt+del twice and you should get resorted back to a classic style login screen.Try entering the username 'Administrator' with the password blank.You would be surprised just how many computers don't have admin passwords.If you manage to login as administrator go...Start > Run > 'control userpasswords2' > Click on the user > Reset Password. I tried booting in safe mode, but it still asks you for a password, though you have access to the administrator account, that could possibly be not password protected as someone mentionned above...
