JT!
It'd be a good bike for a biginger, but i don't think i'd pay over £120 for it.

Reinold
It's a decent beginner bike but i don't think it is worth that much. I would suggest you get a t-bird or a recent model of the t-pro as i think they are better.
Do-M
How much should I be paying for a beginner bike, say an Onza T-Pro?
ted
How much should I be paying for a beginner bike, say an Onza T-Pro?It all depends on how new it is and the parts it comes with. It could be anywhere from £120 - £250 for a good second hand bike.
jake201
hi mate. It's a decent beginner bike but i don't think it is worth that much. I would suggest you to get a new T - Pro, i had one of them when i 1st started i loved it to bit. Tartybikes.co.uk do them and if you get hold of them could you tell them that Jake Henderson told you about it.Good Luck.Jake.
Do-M
I went on TartyBikes and looked at the new T-Pro, and it cost upwards of £300. Now if the one I found costs too much, I'm sure the TartyBikes one cost too much aswell. So does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should look to get a decent bike for a beginner for a decent price? CheersD-oM
Grizzly
I dont like it Its not a straight frame
Do-M
Why are straight frames not good? In fact, what different types of frames are there? Edited October 25, 2006 by Do-M
MikeHayes
You really want to be getting a brand new T-pro from www.Tartybikes.co.uk all i can say really
Do-M
The '07 Onza T-Pro from TartyBikes costs £349, and for my first bike I don't really want to be spending that much, incase I go off trials. But I probably won't though Do-M

T-OM
I'm sure I could get new brakes for it Do-M I would just get a second hand 05/06 t-pro as to change the breaks would cost at least £100, whats the point! Do-M
I was intending on a second hand '05/'06 T-Pro, but if I had to, I would maybe get the new T-Pro, and maybe change the brakes. You show me where I said that I was going to get the new '07 T-Pro, then you can complain Do-M Edited October 25, 2006 by Do-M
Grizzly
Why are straight frames not good? In fact, what different types of frames are there? No, thats what im saying, i prefer straight frames, i think they are stronger, and better made, e.g this is a straight frameand this is a curved frame (I dont know the proper name) And i think straight frames look smarter aswel
Do-M
Ok, so does it make much difference? Or are they pretty much the same?Do-M

poopipe
Ok, so does it make much difference? Or are they pretty much the same?Do-M it makes no difference at all. the best bike you'll get for your money is an 04/05/06 t-pro (the 'straight' ones). you should be able to get one for under £300 on ebay or something. They're good solid frames with sensible geometry and the component choice (particularly for 05/06) was really good.

ted
Looks nice , about how much is this worth?Do-M Well it seems to be in working order and so i would happily pay upwards of £150 for it.Beware though, it still has 6 days to go and so the price will probably rise a fair bit. Also if you can't collect it then it will cost £25 for postage. The reserve isn't met yet either.Other than that it seems to be a good bike and so i would reccomend giving it a look .
