Wright Pads
Fit the drive side 1st then the non drive 2nd! Grease the BB shell threads, this helps and make sure you fittting it in the right way...ie: way the thread is cut!

Dan6061
You know one side is reverse thread... Maybe you're cross threading it.Clean out the threads completely, with an old toothbrush and WD40, then grease it up, and make sure it goes in perfectly. Ben Beckett
it goes on the non drive side a piece of piss........and on the drive side it is not going on very easy.... i put a fair amount of force into it and it doesn't go on!!i take it you mean this 'wright pads', what i ment when saying this is that i was comparing the two sides.i tried the driveside 1st and found it was difficult, so i tested to see if it had the same difficulty on the other side........and it didn't, it went in as smooth as a babys bum!!You know one side is reverse thread... Maybe you're cross threading it.Clean out the threads completely, with an old toothbrush and WD40, then grease it up, and make sure it goes in perfectly.on the driv side i was turning it anticlockwise....... this was screwing on but not much. and when i turned it clockwise it was coming off!!
