Fitting A Maggie With Narrow V-bosses

Concussion

Recommended Posts

OK, I want to put a spare maggie I have, on the rear of my old`ish DMR Sidekick.

Idea's.....!

1. Get some 4 bolt mounts wielded to the frame, as I have 4 bolt mounts spare from my Trex etc. (Seatstays are at a crappy angle - biggish job getting this done - would it be strong etc)

2. Get some Evo mounts (Would they fit with 68mm V-mounts / allow the calipers not to be to far out etc?)

3. Get some Tensile offset magura mounts to give better caliper position ( prob 4 bolt specific... can't find pics)

H`mmm, I'm a bit confuzed/my idea's are a bit of a mess! What do you think?

Hope that made sense? :S

Here's some pics I've been looking at etc!

Shouldn't be a problem with a sidekick.

When they came out originally they were the trial's frame DMR offered. I don't know if they did do 4-bolt version's but im sure that they wouldn't have overlooked the ability to use evo mount's as that's what most people used at the time......

The evo mounts will work because my mate has maggies on his oldish sidekick (Y)

Nice one!

Although I was worried 68mm was a bit narrow.... ie: my V's stick out when using my D521 rim. Will give it a go though, thanks. (Y)

If anyone has any evo's, giz a shout! (I will get looking in sale/wanted)
