eskimo
Front freewheel is suppost to be cheaper and lighter. Only slightly on both cases though. Depending setup i guess.I did find one problem. Chain tension when the bb axle is bent. It makes it so annoying. When manualing on a bumpy surface the chain sometimes comes off i found. Depending setup i guess.I did find one problem. Chain tension when the bb axle is bent. It makes it so annoying. When manualing on a bumpy surface the chain sometimes comes off i found. The way I see it, for those riding recreationally, it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other..... When it comes to competeing and such in theorey it's probobly a better idea to run front freewheel, unless your so particular that you can tell the differance between front and back with your feet.If your front freewheel goes tit's up, it's easy to swap freewheel's/cranks around quickly, it's not soo easy to swap out a rear wheel, and even harder again to replace just the hub(wheel build etc) not to mention the fact that's it's easier to carry around a spare freewheel/crank arm in a bag than a full back wheel. Regarding riding with a bent BB, that's not something many people do is it? so i don't see it as an issue really, and in the time i've started riding again, riding mod since march, my chain has never come off once no matter what I do, with a good tensioner i can also see that not being an issue. Orgun_Donor
What happened to the profile?f**ked up a second time, 2 days to repair it, and they replaced every thin but the 8mm bolts, lock ring and cog. but then i sold it to Alex for cheap. Now running front ENO, and rear T-Master which is working a treat a loads cheaper then my other set up!
