Danny
Internet Explorer 7 has now been released. If you really insist on running IE (60% of you lot ) please at least upgrade to version 7 as its 'slightly' better at following standards making it better for us web developers.[attachmentid=7695]http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspxAlternatively get firefox.http://www.getfirefox.net/

Grizzly
HAHA! Ive had internet explorer 7 for about 5 or 6 months now. BETA all the way! I love it, better than firefox, tabbed browsing this time, and the looks aswell. It looks very smart, and because it is a simple low profile application it runs as fast as anything! Simon
la meme!Anyway, what is this topic to achieve? Are you going to stop supporting MSIE 6 sometime soon? I doubt it!And firefox ain't no good on windows without firefox preloader (google it) No, he was just saying it would be better if they used IE7 over 6 because of the better support for W3C.Firefox is fine on windows without anything else. I run it with 2 toolbars and its still 100x better then IE would be with 0 toolbars.
MadManMike
Tabbed browsing.Need i say more?
Grizzly
sooo how do you get the menu bar above the address bar?Ive tried dragging it but it doesnt want to move anywhere You cant lol, but when you get used to it its nice to use. The google toolbar goes nicely because it goes above the tabs, rather than below like firefox. So the tabs are joined with the page
Ben Jones
Made a homepage, but it doesn't open internet explorer in the homepage, it opens in as : http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspxany ideas???cheers, ben

So the tabs are joined with the page The google toolbar does go above the tabs?Anything going below them would defeat the object of the tabs, and hence, i'm sure its impossible to actually put a toolbar below the tabs. Guest
I find mozilla doesn't work on a lot of sites as well as I.E, and seeing as I've no interest in web development whatsoever, or any codes, or anything at all to do with programming, I'm gonna stick to I.E, it's familiar, I don't experience any problems with it, and no matter how hard people try to justify firefox to me, I still run I.EJames

Yes but i mean as far as i know when i used firefox it used to go below, thus agreeing with what you say.It defeated the object
Danny
Anyway, what is this topic to achieve? Are you going to stop supporting MSIE 6 sometime soon? I doubt it!In another 6 months or so most sites will probably start phasing it out. Along with 800x600 support which most sites already have.
