Pluc
Hi,I bought a set of Magura HS33 brakes and I'm in doubt in which pad to use, in front and back.I'm using the black original pads, as in Brazil he does not have other pads, I go to make the hand in polyurethane, using the rim smooth, rides only dry, which is the durometer with better lock? Thanks. Wright Pads
The lowest number possible as it'll be soft so i'd say a 65 ish
Luke Rainbird
A lot of people go for around the 90A mark, however I'd be tempted to go a little lower as I 'think' that is when using a grind...Somewhere around the 70A mark would probably be rather nice I reckon, see if you can get hold of a few offcuts of different durometers to play around, and when you find one you like, buy a load... Ali C
I wouldnt go any lower than 80, but the stuff I get might be different to what you can get.

Wright Pads
My stuff is hard! Fatmikes is 90 or 95a soemthing. My material, the chemicals used are the hardest about! The lower the number the softer and the highwer the harder. I can get mine in a 95a and it can only be cut by 60,000 psi water jet then, the 65a stuff is still hard but is soft and still wears a blade out on one set of pads! Wright Pads
70 will be the best, 80 is for a light grind and 90 for a harsh grind
