beigemaster
Just watching a bit of online "Most Haunted" which got me thinking. Do you believe in ghosts and if you do what do you think they are? I can't say I've had any real encounters (but I haven't really been looking for one). So what do you reckon? downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Im a real strong beleiver in ghosts...I really think there is somthing in the "super natural" theory that is correct...But i really dont think its just like a human being just walking around, but you cant see them...I think they are just spirits stuck in between worlds, which have somehow got lost...Its hard to explain lol

Barbra
I had a ghost once. His name was Frank, he was my best friend.I do believe in ghosts. I also believe in aliens, i mean out of all that universe, most of it being unexplored theres got to be more than us out of all that. Concussion
Yes...I have to admit I do believe in ghosts / spirits etc. When I was younger, me and three friends had a very, VERY bad experience with a Quiji board over the space of a week. To the point we (can't believe I'm admitting to this :$ ), woke some poor priest up at like 3.00am, scared out of our little minds! Hey we were like 13 or something...... some 13 year old is pissing himself laughing at this I bet.I won't bore you with the whole story.... but some guy who crashed in France in WW2, wanted one of us (he named the person, well spelt it, duh!), to go to the spot and er`.... kill himself to take the guys place in limbo or something! f**k that right?I absolutely swear to you, none of us were trying to wind each other up or push the glass blah, blah.... all of us were in a pretty bad state. Not gonna say what the priest said/did, hell its just too embarrassing! Wow, I haven't thought about that in a long while... god what a night that was!Sos about the long winded reply... that was the very short version.PS: Try not to laugh too hysterically.....`tards! PPS: Derek Ocora from `Most Haunted` is so full of shit!
Joe Papasnap Maher
Call it bullshit, but i have seen a ghost/spirit...in the shape of my grandad. Was young when i see it...(cba to write the whole story) but i did i can still visualise what i saw right now! ManxTrialSpaz
I need laugh,,,NOW. Tell whole story Only if you can be assed. --At concussionEh ghosts, they're just annoying grandparents that aren't annoying anymore.Noticed how most reported ghosts are middle aged or at least not old. 'Tis all bullshit Edited October 16, 2006 by ManxTrialSpaz
yoyoyo
Interesting experience, involving priest and embarrassing moment.Sure this wasn't you on your drugs. Ouji boards are one of those things i won't go near, as in not even in the same house.I've heard some scary stuff about them.
zoo
Apparently on a 'ouji' board my brother law and his mate contacted a guy...He spelt out his name and they looked it up and he was actually the devils right hand man I wouldn't have a go,i get scared too easily by anything to do with ghosts or anything like that.zoo baby! Concussion
Sure this wasn't you on your drugs. Watch it you! Ho` hum..... the priest invited us in (what he must have thought of us?), told us not to mess with that shit. Gave us some........oh god` :$ ......holy water, told us to chuck it round the house etc, burn the dam board and stay up all night or something! Can't think why that would help us, but like we were going to sleep soundly anyway!Holy water! How embarassing! He may have blessed us also........oh` christ! :$ We were so shitting it!PS There was a lot of other crazy shit that week involving that board, but I can't quite remember any good bits. (Yeah..drugs !) hahaha
Ali C
I dont believe in spirits, but I am edging towards time being somehow recorded into objects or places and being played back. hmmm, seen some weird stuff on tv, makes you think.I saw a ghost in my room when I was a kid, walking through my cupbord, but I was young and probably dreaming. My mum says she used to hear kids playing out in the hall in the dead of night.I was walking though my hall downstairs past my bikes and somthing whacked me in my stomach, I thought I had walked into somthing but there wasnt anything there...I had a big red mark, that was weird.Plus I have heard many a bumps and other weird noises in my house, it is over 200 years old though, so its bound to creak a bit. JT!
Don't belive in ghosts - at all. If you want to see a ghost you will 'see' one. If you want something spelt out in a ouji board, it will be spelt out. The eye sees what the minds whants.Don't belive aliens have ever been to this planet, let alone know about it. But they have to exsist. If the universe is infinite, there's a 0% change that aliens don't exsist.

The person laughing hardest will be the one who was pushing the glass around. And no, he was not dead, I mean one of your mates!Ghosts SO don't exist it's untrue. Just because you can't explain what you see, it doesn't mean it's a ghost. There will always be an explanation for what you see other than it being 'spirits, trapped half way in between this world and the next because of unfinished business'.I mean come on, it even sounds stupid.I'm surprised that so many people are eccentric enough to go for the 'ghost' conclusion as opposed to the 'something i just can't explain, but accept that there's an explanation' conclusion. How does my microwave work? How does it heat up my food? I don't know. Must be ghosts and spirits trapped in there eh?
Davey
I've never seen a ghost but this made me think they are real:When my cousin Jack was 3 and I was 14 or something we stayed at our nans house this one time. We were staying in the spare room and there's a picture on the wall of our Grandad who passed away even before I was born, and I'm pretty certain Jack had never seen any pictures of him before.Anyway, he kept pointing at the picture and saying "Can I have a story?". So as you do we said "That's your Grandad" and he said "He can read me a story". We were like "No don't be silly, he's not here anymore, Grandad is in heaven", but jack got really stroppy and upset and was insisting that Grandad always reads him a story!I dunno how kids minds work and I know they have active imaginations, but I can't think what made him so sure that Grandad read him stories, and now we're older Jack can't remember it at all, but it was kinda nice to think that Grandad was still there keeping an eye on us, and as I lost my mother when I was young I kinda like to think she's still watching me too:)DaveyPS: Shows like Most Haunted make a mockery of the notion of ghosts and spirits. I think it should be axed as it is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen and can't see how any intelligent person can watch it with a straight face (very few things get me annoyed but when that show comes on my blood boils)! Concussion
Extreme_biker0...... Fair enough, but I say again...... we were ALL in a VERY bad state, if anything, I was the slightly calmer member of our group (it was me who suggested the priest :$ , oh no, not again haha)Try it mate, you would be surprised.....none of us where remotely intelligent enough to come up with the shit that board was spewing out!Ah` well..... Small_Gear_Big_Style......that's a really nice story man, I believe all that.

You could hook the moving glass up to a generator and have free electricity for life. In the winter months, when more energy is needed, throw some holy water onto the board, that will make the ghosts angrier and they will spell out more stuff.Oh wait I forgot, that wouldn;t work because you need to have several peoples hands on the glass to make it move! What a surprise!

Krisboats
I've tried using a ouija board before, nothing happened. I do reckon things exist though, my mates house is proper freaky. Me and him were talking one night about the weirdest/creepiest thing we've ever seen and he told me about how he's seen a person at the end of their dining room, like a kid who walks around or is sat down on a chair, he said he only ever sees it briefly but its long enough to know its there and to quickly see what it looks like. By the time he he's turned his head to look properly at it its gone... But anyway... He was describing it to me when his sister walks in from the kitchen with a look of horror on her face and finishes off the description of the kid. They both sat there in complete shock because they'd never told anyone about seeing it before.Since they got a dog as well their dog sometimes stands in the lounge barking and growling at the end of the dining room in a way i've never seen it act before. And i admit i have seen something when i've stopped round for the night before, i was almost asleep on the sofa when out the corner of my eye i saw what looked like a little kid running across from one side of the room to the other, but i guess it could have been shadows or something.... unfortunately though it was like 2 weeks BEFORE he told me about it If aliens exist, do you reckon they have trials riding? And do you reckon any of them can gap further than Tunni or TRA?
