Callum Trialsin Posted October 15, 2006 Report Share Posted October 15, 2006 right just a quick question because im stumped on how to sort this problem out.ive got all my wireless stuff but now i have a problem hooking the modem up to the router, because i have the speedtouch 330 modem it goes into the computer via usb. so i bought an adaptor to change it from usb to ethernet but now the modem isnt getting any power because it ran off the computers power .ANY HELP PLEASE, ill give anyone a kiss who helps me Callum Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
poopipe Posted October 15, 2006 Report Share Posted October 15, 2006 seriously - the easiest way to sort it would be to buy another modemyou could probably rig it all up so the modem was plugged into your pc and the network was routed through there but you'd need the pc turned on to use the web and all that bollocks. a new modem won't cost all that much. Gets rid of all the mess and means you only need one device seperating the signal from the socket to the computer instead of having 2.
