TomR
Krisboats' old TA26 frame, and a load of old bits of my DMR trailstar (so its pretty heavy really). Rides real nice, a lot better than my old Mk1 Zebdi even with the added weight on this, but i'm still tempted to try a longer stem/bar combo.[attachmentid=7559] [attachmentid=7558][attachmentid=7557]Frame: Base TA26Forks: Gusset i think, steely thingsBars/stem: Azonic SW risers on planet-x I-beam (or is it X-beam?) Robwalker
Nice, different stem and forks and it'll look the sex. If your interested i have some old tuff guys and a flatter stem if your interested, cheap? PM me.
Krisboats
Tis one mighty fine colour'd frame you got there Very nice, pretty tall stem though... i was a fan of the 110mm 5 degree rise on that steed, but to each his own i guess.hope you have a shit load of fun with it. TomR
Cheers, and i already have been mate! So much easier to ride than my old PX, im bunnyhop manualling stuff i couldnt even hop up before. Only thing i need to get used to is distance manuals, i spend so much time keeping the front end down with the back brake i lose speed!what was it like for manualling with the long stem on? Krisboats
I found anything rear wheel related easier with a lower longer stem. It gave a bit more leverage with manuals so you could do more precise adjustments, i still sucked at manuals though lol... i'm only just getting the hang of them now. nickyw
That seat look's wik. Is it a new'un from dmr or something?
TomR
New-ish i think, it sits a bit too far forward on the base to look good, but i only use it for when i've stopped hopping about anyway. LinkyEdit: And for anyone who hasn't noticed, i've got a new rear tyre too, and bodged my rear booster (bit spongy still, but better), stippped my cassette down to 5 speed and shortened the chain loads. TomR
Cheers Wouldnt mind changing a few bits still as it weighs a ton, but that's gonna cost me a fair few quid as it's stuff like forks and wheels.
