will_zooboy!
Right well my brake is pretty poor at the moment what do you lads use, i use plazmatics pads on a grind it makes a really squeaky noise which is a good thing. it is fairly strong brake but wen i do rails the brake jus slips all the time, so what should i change to??? is a smooth rim better than a grind? max-t
first of all what rim do you have and how far are your pads from the rim
GTF
Try to land more on top og the rail. I don´t know how you land, but if you land more on top of the rail your brake should slipp less.

Word. It's probably just down to your set-up as opposed to your components. Make sure your brake is bled correctly and doesn't go squishing all over the place. The main thing though as mission boy has said is having the pads meeting the rim square, this will also make the brake feel far more solid. Have a play with it until your happy with it

bhups
Tar- A little will do, I run some tar with my plaz and a grind super brake and also i found a light but sharp grind is much better for plaz.
gundam
A hs33 is a good brake and is fine with normal pads if you have a grinded rim as the small grinds bity creates more friction
Dan6061
Try cleaning the rim. Oven cleaner and warm water often does it for me.
