chrishayton
As the title says, Koxx Levelboss 1065 Mk1 Stock Frame, your reviews.Whats it like on the back wheel? Manuals? Taps? Can't find any reviews in search, just people selling them!they feel great on backwheel, especially if coming off a shorter bike, i could tap mine just as well as i can tap my control. they manual well due to being really easy to lift the front, and therefore bunnyhop mint too. eskimo
I still don't understand how they can be good on the back wheel if it hasn't got any bb rise. Could you enlighten me?

Ash-Kennard
you don't need a high bb to do backwheel moves, with a high bb frame it feels more compfortable because you are over the rear axle better. but on a low bb bike you just learn to lean back a little bit more.old school koxx's, they are fine, they are strong, light(ish), and pretty perfect geometry to be honest. why do you think they were soo popular, although nowdays you can buy better, but thats bicycle evolution for you. the levelboss was a revolution, all long low silver frames originate from it. Ali C
BIG note to everyone who rides trials!!!!!!YOU DO NOT NEED A HIGH BB TO BE GOOD ON THE REAR WHEEL!!!!high bb frames are easier on the rear though, but low bb bikes have never been hard to keep on the rear. eskimo
BIG note to everyone who rides trials!!!!!!YOU DO NOT NEED A HIGH BB TO BE GOOD ON THE REAR WHEEL!!!!high bb frames are easier on the rear though, but low bb bikes have never been hard to keep on the rear.I didn't say anyone did. I said about the bike being good on the back wheel. Why are you so against mods and high bb's though? They all have disadvantages.[edit] Just to let you know i'm gonna get one anyhow. Ali C
narr, mods are fine.I could have worded the bold bit a wee bit better. What I mean is frames with low bbs are in no means bad on the backwheel, I was (am) a bit shocked that people would think only high bb frames are good on the rear (their only advantage?). Ash-Kennard
well, due to their general height too, i find commitining to front wheel gaps easier, therefore, more commitment, bigger gaps. and as the bb is higher, they loop out easier/more flickable making gaps awesome too.higher bb bike= better sidehops?EDIT: also, you dont hit the pedal on the wall when you front hook Edited October 14, 2006 by ash-kennard
Krisboats
Lower centre of gravity too? When i go on high bb bikes i feel like their less stable laterally than level bb bikes. Say if i was gonna do a bridge gap between two high rocks, i would be more inclined to feel less stable on a high bb bike than on a level one. Mind you with my height a level bb bike makes everything looks pretty small anyway.High bb frames are for people who aren't man enough to keep a level bb bike steady on the back wheel
eskimo
High bb frames are for people who aren't man enough to keep a level bb bike steady on the back wheel So could you also say Low bb frames are for people who aren't man enough to bunny hop up walls Sorry couldn't resist that.higher bb bike= better sidehops?I do like to sidehop as i don't get to ride that much. I will see what the Koxx is like though. Thanks for all the helps guys!
Krisboats
So could you also say Low bb frames are for people who aren't man enough to bunny hop up walls Sorry couldn't resist that. What the hell gave you that idea? My T-Rex bunnyhops about 41" and my old base TA26 used to bunnyhop 42-43"... I find High BB bikes are a hell of a lot harder to bunnyhop because they loop out easier.
