Riding With Glasses

Hahaha, Good point, but I've had gaffa tape stuck in my hair before, and it hurts like f**k!

Think I'm just gunna see if I can fit them any better and if that doesnt work I'll just have a look around for one of those elastic things.

I get what someone said about them staying on except fast spins, but problem is, I ride 24" and love to spin. :ermm: They stay on fine on ups and stuff, but 270 drops and they go flying!

NOOO!!!, GAFFA TAPE, seriously if i had glasses i would.

Make some out of gaffa tape Glen.

2 birds, 1 stone.

Can you buy rubbery plastic extenders which fit on the back of the glasses to help them wrap around your head more?

If not, you should be able to.

How the hell do you carry out a sight test on a 10 month old baby?!! I've never suited glasses, or at least never liked the way I look in them so got contacts when I was about 14. My case is slightly extreme though as I'm fairly sure I have the worst eyes on trials forum...

Dave

I bet mine are nearly as bad dave!

And they throw knives at babies to sight test them, if they move - it's obvious they saw the knife.

Contact lenses are really the best option.I have monthlys and apart from the occasional problem they're a life saver really. my glasses are dead thick and impossible to ride in.... so i dunno what I'd do with out the lenses!

Bollocks, just actually read the thread and dave's eyes are worse than mine, if he doesnt have an astigmatism though then that balances it out as I'm -6 and -7 with an astigmatism....Go team sonar.
