Davey
Basically, if i know you are gay from 100 meters away, or if i know you're gay without you telling me, i hate you, and i'll hate you forever. If however a guy is gay, but i dont' know until one day i see him getting off with another bloke, fair enough, just keep it away from me.So you only like gay men if you don't know they are gay?!?So you don't like gays! Did you vote no-mo, I think you should!Davey
Josephine
I personally am against some homosexuals, i dont mind the quiet normal ones who are like normal people. But when they act girly (boyish if they are girls), crossdress or act in any way to irritate you, then i get pissed off. So im afraid thats a 'no' I do not agree with homosexuality in general. Sorry Why should someone act in a particular way just because of the body they were born in? Doesn't seem right to me. I think you need to get over that, it really is your problem rather than anyone else's.Joe x
RicH_87
ok then i can live with people thinking i hate gays.and yes i did for no.for example, if i could get rid of all knowledge of gayness tomorrow, then i would.yes i'm old fashioned, and yes, call me hitler if you like, but i'd much rather be hated than have to put up with seeing grown men acting like children. Josephine
well that impossible cos only 1 in four men are gay. Closer to 1 in 10. Plus, most gay guys don't act like you've suggested, which leads me to wonder where they hell you're getting you 'information' from! I don't like the way chavs act. Doesn't mean I tar all straight, white males with the same brush, lucky for you ok then i can live with people thinking i hate gays.and yes i did for no.for example, if i could get rid of all knowledge of gayness tomorrow, then i would.yes i'm old fashioned, and yes, call me hitler if you like, but i'd much rather be hated than have to put up with seeing grown men acting like children. You're a delusional lad, eh? Other than irritating your (overly sensitive) sensibilities what harm does it do? Why on earth would you want to end something that has no bearing on you at all.Would you rather end prejudice or homosexuality? Serious question.Joe x Edited October 13, 2006 by Josephine
Davey
i'd much rather be hated than have to put up with seeing grown men acting like children.I have to say I respect the fact that you have a view which is your own and you stand by it! This thread was always going to cause a little controversy!I would just like to note on your above comment that I know many gay man who work in positions of great responsibility and authority and far from acting like children they command respect from the people who work for them and do a very good job!Davey
Fixed Pantsâ„¢
S'all cool really, i spose it was adam and eve not adam and steve but then again two males can't reproduce.(go-mo)But when they act all gay and stuff, i just laugh, they sound like such gays! Tomm
I have no problem with it, in the way that I don't have a problem with people fancying girls I wouldn't, or people that like different food to me. Too many people are worrying about what other people are up to, when it's none of their business. I don't really care either way I had always wondered about this though - TF is generally quite open about most topics (possibly too open in some cases) but I always wondered if anyone would be openly homosexual on here. There does seem to be quite a homophobic atmosphere on here. But statistically there has got to be some gay people on here.two males can't reproduce.(go-mo)Does that mean that they (as a race) will all die out eventually then? Like Pandas? Fixed Pantsâ„¢
Hopefully, aha only joking you gays and are you refering to the people that swing the other way as a race? if so you're a donut because they choose to be gay, silly. hah! RobinJI
I don't really have any kind of problem with gays, who thay shag is up to them, not me. So as long as I'm not getting bumed by them I'm not really bothered. Like a while ago on a train a gay guy was checking me out and stuff, then I just put my arm round my girlfriend at the time and kissed her and he when away, which was fine, he didnt cause any neusence or anything, and it made my girlfriends mate laugh like hell!! I know what people mean about guys acting 'gay' and it is anoing, just seems really attension seeking and sad, but then if they act like that and I found out they are not gay, I'd still think they were a knob just as much! I can think of a few gay guys who I know and get along with fine, and the majority of gay men are decent guys, they just like a bit of cock every now and then! Davey
There does seem to be quite a homophobic atmosphere on here.I noticed this, but I also believed that it was all in jest and that if asked outright pretty much everyone would be open minded and not have a problem with it.I don't think homophobic is a good word, it suggests hatred which is extreme, I think just intolerance and in fact fear are more accurate. Straight men tend to be under the impression that gay men are going to come onto them and this makes them uncomfortable, in much the same way as they would feel uncomfortable if a girl that they didn't find attractive came onto them, so their response is understandable. However this notion is nonsense. Gay men don't fancy all men any more than straight men fancy all women (well maybe some, haha)!I am not gay, so no Amy is not up for grabs thanks yoyoyo, and as Poopipe said she's promised to him anyway! But I have many friends who are gay, and they are indistinguishable from my straight friends both in how they act and how we treat each other. They are no different from us, in fact I'm probably more camp than they are, haha! That's my views anyway, gay men can teach us straight guys a lot, like how to dress for a start, and how to pull girls for a second, girls love guys that are in touch with their feminine side!Davey Edited October 13, 2006 by Small_Gear_Big_Style

zoojames
I was just wondering how many homosexual males we had on T-F, I mean we are a pretty small community as it is and as has been said I felt a rather homophobic vibe around here at times. In year 10 my mate came out to me, I was the first guy he told, fair enough I didn't mind and I still hang with him to this day, stopped talking to him for a bit for breaking up with the best guy he'd ever been with, his boy friends a knob atm...Anyway since starting uni I've made friends with a Gay PORNSTAR, seriously he's the nicest guy in the world, he's camp as fook to be honest but I dont really care, boys got style! So I'm Go-Mo, I know far too many!As for homophobes, turn it around, imagine what you'd feel like if the second you kissed a girl the world came down on you for choosing to like that person, even though you couldn't help it! I'm not saying don't knock it till you've tried it, because I dont think I would ever try it, I know I certainly don't want to now, but who knows! Cock and Bum could be FUN!James

Fishy
Loads of people think I'm gay. I'm not gay, I just am comfy with my sexuality. I can be pretty camp sometimes, but meh. I'm definately not anti-gay, I'm more anti-homophobe.

I must be spending way too much time in chit chat, some time the homo-erotcism reaches levels I never thought it could on a web forum! A guy in my maths class last year called Stephen had come out recently and his family had a real problem with it. I didn't mind him to be honest, he was intelligent and made good conversation. Stank of cigarettes, due to having a severe addiction, but he was a'ight in my book.I have nothing against them as a community, but there are always the individuals who are complete dick'eds, and it's not because they are gay, it's just because they are infact, dick'eds. An example would be 'Shabaz' off big brother. What. A. Twat. It's unfortunate but that image seems to go hand in hand with being gay sometimes, much as being a suicide bomber is to Islam. Walleee
i don't hate the fact some men are gay,but i do hate the way the majority of gay men act...ie.*stupid voices.*being overly-camp.*use of words such as 'bitch', 'darling', 'fabulous' etc.*dressing like a girl (a minority i know but still).*did i mention the stupid voices?*openly talking loud enough about being gay or liking bumsex or whatever, in a public place, simply to get across the point that you are gay.*flirting with me beyond the point of a joke.Basically, if i know you are gay from 100 meters away, or if i know you're gay without you telling me, i hate you, and i'll hate you forever. If however a guy is gay, but i dont' know until one day i see him getting off with another bloke, fair enough, just keep it away from me.I seen this topic when it was first posted, but didn't have the words i wanted.Rich has summed it up nicely for me.It's the with straight people too though, I wouldn't like to be around someone who constantly talked about straight sex, it's just those that make an issue of it.Theres a guy in work who is a total fruit, types like a woman & talks like a proper gay boy, I cannot stan this type of person.I think some people see being gay as a lifestyle rather than a sexuality.... How the flip is it unnatural? Who genetically engineered gays? What otherworldy force called them into being? Chimpanzees exhibit homosexual behaviour, as do bonobos (pygmy chimps) the species we descended. It's as natural as having ten fingers. If you're weirded out by it, that's an issue and I recommend you just get your egocentric little head round and get on with your life without judging people you've never even met.JoePS Quit kidding yourself with the "people may find this harsh" crap. You know they do, you just don't wanna address your own issues and go on pretending it's everyone else's fault. Concussion
I regard people who are gay as mentally handicapped! In the same way people who believe they are a woman/man etc.I'm not going to make fun of someone in a wheelchair, neither would I make fun of someone who feels affection for the same sex. I feel sorry for them. I would happily be friends with someone who was.....although I very much doubt they would feel the same after hearing my views. I could understand that...everyone thinks there special.Crap like people I know, saying its a choice and its the 21st century........bullshit......BULLSHIT!And its got nothing to do with `god` or any of that crap.= genes are f**ked up!You did ask.....NO!Feel free to childishly say what I've just said, about me. Or slag me off accordingly.
