1337 Trials
Hey people, I aint posted on here in ages. Anyway im in need of a new stem because I have a onza one that will only fit onza bar (due to the middle size onza have made 28mm). What stem would be best??? 1. Try-all 31.8mm Clamp http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=3282. Echo Hifihttp://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=327 P.s. the stem is for the echo tough bars. ~Matty
T-OM
I would go for an echo as all my mates have them and they all say they are light and give a good feel and i agree with them Edited October 12, 2006 by T-OM

If you're short using a longish frame then your better of using a short geo stem, The Echo Hifi, So you can tuck more etc... It's up to you if you feel stackers are helping or not. you can test this by, Putting stackers under the stem, On top of the stem or a bit of both. Thats if your steerer is not cut down. If you're tall using a shortish frame you're better of using a longer geo stem, The Try-All, So you don't feel as cramped. I personally don't use much Try-All stuff but if the Echo Hifi doesn't suit you i would recommend the Echo team stem. It's up to you. Cheers Aaron.
