Sneakers O'Toole
I don't get how they managed to get to the moon in the first place with their crappy computers. They still seem to have problems going into space now so how comes it was so easy in 1969 to hit the moon? And why don't they ever go back, surely theres plenty of stuff to do up there. Oh and the pictures, i looked at some that had set markers on them, but they might have been fakes.I don't really care enough about the JFK one to think about it. And 9/11 who knows, i don't know enough about planes and building structures.
Davey
Ok, I have only watched the moon one because I've seen programmes about the other two, and to be honest I am fairly sure the moon landing was a hoax, for whatever reason, and the US government have done little or nothing to convince me otherwise. I think until you watch an un-biased documentary you can't really make an un-bias judgement, but that's how I feel.9/11 I have seen numerous conspiracy sites with wild accusations, some of them quite convincing, but in my opinion there was no conspiracy there, and plausible answers to all the arguments have been given with additional evidence to the contrary, although I've no doubt numerous people will post saying about the way the towers collapsed or the lack of debris or something, but I've seen all this and I've seen the explanations and I distinctly recall thinking "Yeah that makes sense, there was no conspiracy".Finally JFK, haven't watched this one but i have seen the un-bias documentary about it. The evidence against Oswald is damning, most of the arguments I've heard are so old (magic bullet, grassy noll, bla bla) and with new technology and computer reconstructions they have been disproved. In my mind beyond a shadow of a doubt Oswald killed JFK, it's not a theory, it's a fact, and all the holes that have been picked in it as far as I am aware have been disprooven! As I said I haven't watched all 3 of the links on this thread, only the moon one, maybe if I did I'd change my mind but I doubt it!Davey Edited October 12, 2006 by Small_Gear_Big_Style
yoyoyo
This settles my naive mind about the moon hoax. Some pretty good explanations.Including things about the flag.
Davey
This settles my naive mind about the moon hoax. Some pretty good explanations.Including things about the flag.Hmm, again haven't looked at the full detailed rebuttles, but things like the pics being so obviously doctored, video's from allegedly seperate landings and days having clearly the same background. For me the flag is the least of my concerns, because lets face it none of us know what a flag does in space because we've never been, but we know when two places are in fact the same place, and we can see when crosshairs on a lens appear behind the photographed image that the image was put in afterwards!!!!!Still not convinced that it really happened I'm afraid, apart from anything else, why have we not been back since?!?!?Also, moonrocks, or just rocks that are not of this world, can be got from places where meteors have hit earth, or am I confused (no seriously, because I just thought to myself that they burn up but I'm sure they hit the earth)!?!?Davey
Greetings
I remember writing about this in the RSQ thread, but here it goes again. Official images from official websites. Click it Just raise the gamma of the image to a high level. Click it Another one for you to raise the gamma level of. And do the opposite here. That's not how the sun looks like. Apart from that, the exposure would be such that everything else would be black. Off to watch that video. Josephine
Odd how the one with the most convincing evidence against its reality (the moon landing) is more popularly thought to be fake. May I be so bold as to ask exactly how many of these opinions are informed ones? Or are you guys going on gut-feeling? Joe x
