Wheel Swap

STC

Recommended Posts

actually no...hold the front brake on then do a gap to the object.let your front wheel land on top of it and shift your weight forward then stoppie on.eventually you will get used to this. and will be able to switch to back wheel.to shift to back wheel suddenly change your weight from being forrward and pull it right back.

try this on small walls to startwith though...then progress.usually best to try in on a few pallets at first or maybe a one foot or so high wall

max...

i can actully wheel swop so i thorght i would tell you how i do it.

1. find a wall approx 20" good size to start on.

2. roll up to the wall and pop a small wheely (sp) so that your front wheel is now on the wall.

3. pull and hold front brake, if you are left footed make sure your left foot is forward.

4. hop the back wheel around to the right so that you are quite close to the wall but no that close that you are going to hit it.

5. bend your arms to roughtly about 100 degrees and lean as much as you can over the front wheel.

6. make sure you are still only holding the front brake, use the flex of your forks to get the hop.

7. on the magic count of 1,2,3 preload as in point 5. but also bend you knees.

8. in one swift motion jump as high as you can and use your arms to throw the bike in an up woods motion (sp).

9. whilst in the air make sure you pull your rear brake so wheel you land on the wall you dont flip your bike.

10. land on the wall, then hop of the wall and roll away.

remember practice makes perfect, this will not come to you over night it takes a while to put it all together so get out there and practice it, and if you need any more held just shout.
