I must thank you for saving me the hassle of writing a new topic about this. this has been doing my head in since i have been a memeber this site is really cool but thats its down side stupid questions i must add to this that i personally think this is the best topic in this section since i have been a member

As much as I agree with this topic, there can only be so many questions that can be asked. For example, if a "which brake pads" topic could only ever be used once and never replicated, no one would have any reason to make a new topic or post and thus, no one would ever get validated.

So, although you make a valid point about repetitive topics, it can not really be helped otherwise NMC would be a very quiet place indeed.

like i said..use common sense.use the search.

Topics from new memeber chat get get deleted after a few weeks anyway. Plus, no one ever gets a stright answer from these topics becuase there isn't one. Even if people do search, they're still non the wiser.

As has been said...yes its annoying, but that's the way of life unfortunatly. Making topics such as this one doesn't really help.

I'm sure everybody agrees, and you don't need to see 100 people saying "I agree", so I think locking this topic would be the sensible thing to do.
