GuyJames
Yes, another one of these topics...it is a last resort but I have waited long enough. Ordered pads awhile back and correspondence between myself and Steve was quick and easy but lately he hasn't replied to my emails asking when my pads will arrive. I wondered if I am missing something and he has gone on holiday or something major to do with sorting his mortgage which is preventing him from sending my pads or telling me via email why the delay?!Steve if you see this please mail or PM me. Thank you, Guy

Ash-Kennard
took tom a month to recieve his coustsinks, but apparently there was a f**k up at the post office, so we will let steve off this time, and the coustsinks he eventually received came with a free pair of heatsink snowys, which i nabbed. thanks steve, love you. Onza Kieron
When I ordered mine they took a lil while bt came with a little note so I was happy enough, i'm sure it will be sorted soon.

GuyJames
I would be far happier with a compensatory pair of pads than a note, but I will stay positive. I know he will eventually get it done, just not liking the time scale.Cheers for the replies fellas. Guy
JT!
The situation Steves in at the moment seems that either you get the pads with a delay, or he stops making them altogether. He only one man, with a full time job and a familey. I don't know how he manages, even with delays.
Matthew_Gibson
Wasn't there a delay due to him not having enough time a while back. Could be that same thing again.18th June '06, ]Delays on order send out - Please Read! 18th June '06 We apologise in advance for delays on part send out that we're currently experiencing. Such is the popularity of our components that demand is growing rapidly, and current manufacturing methods can't keep up. We've always placed the focus on the performance and quality of our brake pads and other parts, and the challenge now is how to ramp up production without compromising this.During this extraordinary time there may be a delay of a week on some parts. We'll be sure to update you when this issue is resolved. Thanks for your patience! You can't really complain though, as Steve is a Top fella. Like JT said, he has a full time job and a young family. Just be patient folks.

Egg Fried Rice
i ordered some heatsink reds today and im not expecting them to arrive that soon. im not bothered when they are here as i know steve is always busy so take your time!JK
munkee
Personally i would never argue with the service that steve provides. His pads have become a quality that is to be envied by other pad producers. Great customer care has become part of the whole deal, if your pads are late you can always expect to have a freebie to come with them because thats the type of guy steve is. I know for a fact he has definitely won a few hearts on this forum for his fast turn around when producing and sending off the pads, but lets face it everyone is entitled to a break. When you have family etc you have to get your priorities straight.
onzatprodude
im not having ago here it was just something i thought that'd make sense like he could just change the "recieve pads in 2-3 working days" to something like a week then people arnt expecting them for a bit longer then it saves him time so he dosnt have to reply to everyones emails edit: and he dosnt have to write little notes and waste his profit on giving free pads away Edited October 10, 2006 by onzatprodude
b'mouth trials
A mate of mine ordered a 24UK frame and forks and they both came through fine apart from the forks. They are welded up wrong so the caliper isnt even close to fitting. My mate has emailed him but not replied as of yet...Although like whats already been said, i really do respect the fact that he has a family and job to take care of, hats off to him for what he has done already!Hope he gets in contact soon.Aaron. Heatsink
I'm back! All outstanding pads are being sent today and tomorrow The fork mount issue is in hand now. I did get back to him straight away and got some queries sent out on it. I will be working through all my messages now after a period of not being able to reply. We'll soon get to the bottom of this fork issue and I hope everyone is impressed with their pads too. It's a very good suggestion that it would be time well spent for me to alter the delivery times on my pads page during this period that everything is happening at once. We'll soon be moving into our new house and I'll be the proud dad of our 2nd son Thanks for all your support,SteveA mate of mine ordered a 24UK frame and forks and they both came through fine apart from the forks.
