anzo
You dont have the Codec installed.Find the video you want to watch, right click it and go to 'Open With'.Go to C:/ then to Program Files, Windows Media Player and click the windows media player 2 (or something like that), the icon is one of those scene clicker things...basically is the old old old media player. It will work in that
munkee
While were on the codec stuff.. why does it always say requesting codec etc etc.. then error downloading codec. Its never ever worked .. any reasons why?
anzo
Should work, although I find any of that 'automatic update' stuff to be a load of bollocks. It may be a firewall stopping it or some Internet Security program.Easier to go directly to the windows website and download the codecs yourself, OR the better option is to use a third party player, Nero, DivX ect ect. Extreme_biker0
For future problems with windows media player where you want to do a screen grab using the 'print screen' key, turn off hardware acceleration in windows media player settings. It will work then Then turn it back on.
