PaRtZ
*sighheatsinks, koxx reds, koxx browns their usually high contenders on the loudness scale

Dan6061
My Plaz' CRM's are loud now. Dead grind, tinyiest bit of tar around the the rim (almost none) and it's as loud as ever.Locks brilliantly too. And they're around 18months old...I know any pads will work with tar, but I've barely got any on my rim.

Reinold
I would have to say plazzy's on a kinda harsh grind or koxx browns without a grind and a bit of tar but for a better lock you could have a grind, they both have a brilliant lock and a loud sound. I have used both of these but i would probably say plazzy's are better than the koxx bloxx because sometimes koxx bloxx work super well with loads of bite and hold and other days it isnt as good but still manages to have a decent hold, either of them will do you fine.
