White Ranger
Hey People,I want to get a new helmet and not sure what to go for. Starting to do bigger stuff and feel it will give me more confidence with a lid, also make me look pro... What have people got or would recommend, attach links to your replys to show me. Thanks Edited October 5, 2006 by White Ranger
Orgun_Donor
Something that protects your noggin!Im wearing a Giro Indicator at the moment, but i know alot of the people here like the Xen's
Tarquin
Hmmm, Xen's are cool, but for those who cant afford them there are plenty of affordable options! I dont believe in getting a helmet just cos all the other trials riders out there have one. "Oh, xxxx has a Xen, that means I will be better if I get one!"No. As long as its comfy and it fits you perfectly, in the end it doesnt make a huge difference!I have the Giro Havoc myself. Si-man
Go for a mid ranged Giro or something.Don't be silly and spend £100 on a xen or some shit like that, it will just break.£30 is all you need to spend really.I used to have th eindicator by Giro, mint helmet an nice an afforadable Edited October 5, 2006 by Si-man
fathopper
Xens are good but ive had 2 now, one second hand and one brand new and they both broke in the same place(the straps that hold the clips together). They are good helmets but I wouldn't reccomend them.

Orgun_Donor
Giro Indicator is a womens helmet Well i brought it when i really needed a helmet. Its lighter the most of the other Giro's people are wear. Its damn comfy, and you would never be able to tell by looking at it.... Ohh and it protects my nogging so i dont really care. Rather not be a timmeh, I enjoy riding to much!

Reinold
i would recommend a giro havoc because they are comfy and when you are wearing it, it doesn't even feel like your wearing a helmet.
