joe b
Hey. My Quicktime's been buggered for a while now, but it's got so annoying that i'm actually going to do something about it .Well, about 6 months ago it started to play videos without the audio. So i'd close it, re-open it, then it would work. But now whenever i want to watch a Quicktime movie it just won't play with sound.I'm uninstalling it at the moment, so hopefully that will work. But, i'm just seeing if anyone else has had similar problems? Cheers,Joe.

tank_rider
VLC player is where it's at. It plays .mov files and doesn't require installing quicktime and the bundled gaytunes.

It plays .mov files and doesn't require installing quicktime and the bundled gaytunes.I have VLC, and the audio didn't work in there, either, on any '.mov' files. Although, it works again now, since i re-installed Quicktime! Gaytunes isn't compulsory when you download Quicktime, either, though i use it for my Gaypod, anyway .Cheers,Joe.
