hi, i am just about to purchase some new pads and wandering if you guys have used any of these pads and your verdicts on them. i am on a very tight budget so it is either onza citrus or Monty 219XH. i run a mod with a very light gring and i use a bit of tar.

if you dont know the pads here is the tarty link

Brown's. They work nicely what ever the weather and last about a year+. They could do with a bit more bite

Blue's are a bit softer than browns and dont last as long but they have more bite and work pretty well in the wet.

Go for browns, I have them front and back (Y)

Ye i would say the browns as well, the last two pair of pads i have used have been these.

They work awesome in any weather and give a good stopping power. If you enjoy having loud brakes as well (as i know some do) they are pretty loud.

Last couple of days i have used them in wet weather and can't notice much different when they are in the wet and dry, so it's all good.

I have cut grooves out in an old pair to see if that helps when i run them in wet weather, so i will probably be putting them on soon. (Y)

Did these people even read your first post, iv got onzas on a light grind good pads wear fast though had mine nearly 2 months got about 3mm left of the groove very good stopping power.

I often think the same thing, he specfically said that he was considering either monty or onza pads, and we still have people suggesting Koxx without even mentioning the two specified.

I just think there is no point in asking as if they don't read the first time why would they read my post?

Im going to take a stab into the dark and say that was aimed at me :P I read his post anywhoo.

I think monty's suck and I havn't used Onza's so can't really comment on them. IMO koxx bloxx are the best pad's so why not sugest them?

It honestly wasn't aimed at you, or anyone really, I didn't even pay attention to who posted what. don't take offence. :)

yes, i dont want to sound like a pri*k but i put those things in my post for a reason.

And if any of you have any other cheap pad ideas (like less than £15) feel free to add your ideas and reviews.

cheers

Why get shit pad's when you can spend an extra £3 and get good pads? You can probebly find £3 in the sofa
