Euro Braker
Currently sorting it out but a Citroèn Dyane and that is £777.00 third party fire and thieft. I thought it was a bit tooo much as the car has a 602cc engine(32bhp but goes 75 though). Prudential insurance I found cheapest, I had quotes elsewere for £2500 for the same car. planet x alan
thanks for the feedback. as it seems. it isnt just the size of the engine that depends on the price of the insurance i think i will get quotes on loads of different cars. i will probably end up with a corsa or something. dont want to mod it though, maybe a towbar for the motorbike but that will be it

If you really want cheap insurance narrow it down more to 1 - 5. That way you know what cars you CAN get insured on so then its just a case of picking the one you like. Thats how ive done it for my past 2 cars anyways. My coupe is only a category 11 which in the boundary of what i was willing to pay insurance wise since my civic was a 8.Forgot to mention if you are looking for 2nd hand you can get away with picking a higher category and just spending less on the car you were willing to insure when it comes to buying it. The method above is what i do for new cars. Edited October 8, 2006 by Spacemunkee
