Widmore want's him dead, so to be back on the island would be ideal for him, once he's on the island, he might turn, but im pretty sure ben needs all the help he can get right nowIm getting the impression that there is a huge 'game' of sort's going on, with all the talk of rules latley, and the 'god helps us all' statements. I'm assuming they all need to be back on the island so the island can fit it self back into the right time slot, but needs all the missing pieces to work that out, if that makes sense? It seems like ben needs locke, hence bringing him to the short haired blonde, perhaps he needs him kept while he get's the rest of the oceanic 6 'rounded up' to take them all back, then put time back, because we have seen that people (on the island) don't travel in time, when the flashes have occured locke was still shot wasn't he?
