JT!
Don't GU's have an intergrated booster like the echo team, if so i wouldn't bother spending money / adding the weight to your bike, becuase it won't make too much difference. Plus they make your brake much harder to set up.

Er...eh?What i was stating was that there's no real need for a booster when it has one built into the frame. Asuming he's a beginer, he might not have known that it has an intergrated one. Ben Beckett
i have the 06 pitbull and i don't run a booster, the brake feels lush and is a piece of piss to set up.........i experimented with a carbon fibre booster the other dan and it was gay to set up and looked disgusting!!the pitbull is similar to the gu, but if the gu has a built in booster and the 06 pitbull doesn't then you definatelly don't need a booster!boosterless all the way! JT! RobinJI
Erm... hate to piss on your parade, but the GU doesn't actualy have a built in booster, so all this arguing is kinda pointless. But frames with boosters built in still flex sometimes, so boosters can be nice on them. Without one theres more of a chance of the rail pushing the chain into that gap and putting so much stress on it that it snaps, with the block there theres not as much room for the chain to move so it shouldnt snap.
