Ben Beckett
the levers are like 3 fingered, instead of 2 fingered like the hs33.they will work pretty much the same,(power etc), yea you could use them for trials but i personally would just get the hs33's!!i can't think of anything else at the mo!!!i'll edit when i do. lawrence osborn
The brakes are rubbish i defenetly wouldn't use them for trials and also they do have a tpa it is inside the lever and you adjust it with a allen key
yoyoyo
I use the actual brake part on my bike, just with a hs33 lever. Good old bodge jobs. Can't feel any difference.

kid creole
i had hs 11 's on a saracern i wouldnt recommend them the levers are terrible and they didnt work that well but i didnt know about grinded rims then :$ i think the actual brake is the same its just the lever thats different if you can go for the hs 33's
Saracen Kid
so really what your all saying is get it but get a new leaver
RobinJI
The only difference between the HS33 and the HS11 is the lever, so if you bought the HS11 and changed the lever, you would just have an HS33, so you might as well get the HS33, unless you're gunna get a RB lever strait away or something. The lever body is different too, so you couldnt just change the blade, you'd have to change the whole lever.
lil_kial
Personally i would'nt get one they dont have alot of power and the response is very slow, if i was you i would save up a bit more and buy a new hs-33 and maybe splash out on some decent pads.Kial. adamtrials
You made pretty much exactly the same topic a month ago, what's wrong with you?http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....c=82830&hl=
old_boy_rider
HS11 are different at the handlebar end - they have a resin (read plastic) housing - in most cases the lever is metal - but it can be resin as well i think. You get a little extra flex at the lever with the HS11 as the resin flexes- but its only a little. If they are fitted on a bike already, its ok - the function is still better than V brakes or crap discs - and you can upgrade quite easily with a new cylinder, and the better lever shape of the HS33.If you are buying them as parts though - its not much extra for the HS33, i'd stretch to those every time.
