The lemonade man
Can anyone explain how exactly I change a magura crossover cable? I just snapped mine and need to know if I need new fittings or I can use my old ones. Also is it a hard job?Cheers
Joey B
It's not tooo bigger job. If its just the standard magura hosing then yes you can use the fittings but from personal experience they are a right bitch to push into the new hosing. You can get replacement hosing from Cleanbikes (The hosing is listed under "Brake Spares") for £2.50 a metre or get the red braided hose which i MUCH stronger for only £5.00 a metre. All you have to do is puch the magura pipe nipples into each end of the hose, screw to the callipers and re-bleed. Does anybody know about cleanbikes delivery, how long is it?Thanks Oh and is it worth buying some braided hosing for it? Does this fit in the same way?
