When i first heard of the idea i thought it was a big crap risk but when i saw gameplay footage of redsteel and zelda i just wanted to get one. Hopefully get one soon with bro for christmas. The whole sword bit, and even how twisting the controller twists the gun on the screen. Also the ping pong game sounds fun.Looking forward to this supposed 360 with an updated cpu or something. For all those saying their bored of them. There's supposed to be a new line of games coming out. Also a game called import tuner looks quite good for 360. They needed something new and original and that's what the Wii is. Best design in a controller ever imo! Games like Red Steel will be mega fun. Deffo gonna pick one up! I'm enjoying my 360 still (my second one, my first died!), just waiting for the better games to come out. Mass Effect, Forza 2, Gears of War, Huxley, Halo Wars, Star Wars KOTOR 3, The Darkness, Fable 2, Army of Two, new GTA in october!! and much more hehe.Edit: Any of you guys got xbox live? A!! Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 After owning a 360 my self (well two), if i do get another console it will be the wii. I ended up getting a full refund for my 360, as the first one i got at christmas time seemed to work alright, but it got so hot you could cook breakfast on it. Anyway later on it shat the bed and showed the red lights, so off it went to microsoft where i got a new one sent back. This one seemed alright for a while but again it got mega hot and just started to stall and crash, especially when i was playing hitman on it. So we took it back to gamestation where they gave us a refund. It was a good console but the temperatures it runs at, and how picky the conditions it has to be is just slightly ridiculous, unlike the old n64 as they were built like brick shit houses. The only game i really did like on it was Hitman blood money as i just found the others fairly boring. It just seemed like the concentration was on graphics not new inventive games. That is why if i get another it will probably be the wii, as it looks the most fun and inventive and that is what games consoles should be about (well to me anyway), and the PS3 is far too much for me to consider it. My pc has the type of games that I like playing (mainly racing sims like gtr) so I am sticking with that. Consoles however, come into their own when you get some mates round, and I do still use my ps2 for the odd bit of social gaming.I've yet to be impressed by the 360 or indeed the ps3. The graphics may well be good, but so far the selection of games has yet to tempt me. The Wii on the other hand, looks like a hoot and would certainly be more suited for social gaming with mates. As far as I'm aware the graphics are the same as those found on the Game Cube, but my hat comes off to Nintendo for actually trying to take gaming to the next level, rather than just increase graphical performance. The Wii certainly mark Nintendo as the most innovative console producer on the market.If I do feel like getting a new console, the Wii will certainly be it. Highly addictive 4 player micro machines-type game, only with weapons. So much fun but the graphics are rubbish. So yeah, graphics mean nothing.I hope the Wii does well, but I don't know that it will. I probably won't be buying any of them, unless they're really cheap (which won't be for a few years...).
