How Do You Pedal Hop Up Walls

it is just a matter of time, the longer you ride the higher you can get. if you practice them loads then you will eventually keep getting higher and higher. if you use your body loads in the preload this helps to get higher!

so if you was trying a sidehop, then the best way to get height is to get your body right down near the backwheel and then shoot up with loads of momentum you will find it easier to get higher. ( it may take some getting use to the new technique and a few attempts before you get any higher.)

with pedal hops/wheelie hops you sort of need to go at a fastish speed and as you get near the wall (a bike lengh awayish) have your strong foot facing the floor ( as you are rolling towards the wall) and pedal all the until the strong foot is facing front. ( but as your front foot is at the back this is the time to be lifting the front up, and applying a good strong kick) along with throwing your body into the bars/stem (not actually smacking them >_< ) as this happens your bike should rise and then stick your arms out in front of you and stick your arse out over the back wheel, this helps gain extra height.

hope that made sense!!?!?!?!?!?!

anyway for some ace videos on the technique watch neil tunnicliffs 'ZOO VIDEO 26' it has some ace sidehops and wheelie hops at slow speed, this is ace way to learn the technique!

http://neiltunnicliffe.com/ - it is in the video section!!

good luck dude! (Y)
