maxxis26
water is the better option, all my mates have goodridge hoses and they say use water. they wont rust as they are stainless steel and they have a plastic insert inside the hose. i only have standard maggie hoses so i cant say for sure but they swear buy using water Edited October 1, 2006 by maxxis26

Wright Pads
Water is amazing for Hs33'sBe it a Hope, Goodridge or Magura Stainlesssteal hose water is fine!Stainless steel doesn't rust. Not many chemicals will kill it ether. Not even clostic soda as all food and drink companinse use stailness steel tanks and when they clean them out they use clostic soda along with 100c steam/waterI just use boiling tap water but have also used WD40 thats been left to simmer and part so you use the pil at the base and all the thuick sluge is at the top which would kill your magura

Wright Pads
Stainless steel doesn't rust! If it did then it couldn;t be used for many thing, food production, medical, body piercing, cars, bikesNeed i go on?water in Magura's is fine, it'll frezee yes so maybe add some antifrezze or just keep you brake pumping to stop it form doing so.Water is what 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen, Stainless steel is not normal steal, it's rustless
