Orgun_Donor
Depends on your set up and personal preferance. Ive just gone from flats to Zoo! risers(due to bending my 24seven ones) and its just raised the front up enough to make it perfect. but then thats just for my bike, it you think the front feels a little low, then the best option might be a set of risers. Ben Beckett
IMO risers are much better than flats you get a much more comfortable feeli agree, the flat bars such as;http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=85have a real bent area where your hand goes, they are sort of at an angle, when i 1st used these shaped bars my hands really hurt but got use to them. i wouldn't ever go back to using this shaped bars!these bars don't look nice and do look wierd;http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=87these riser bars look really nice, are a good shape where your hand goes and the rise is only a small amount, so these are much better and more comfortable!http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=
basher
what a stupid question, if flats where better than risers or the other way round then they would only make one of them as one is better so everyone would get the better one. hopefully your getting the point im trying to make.generally risers are better for the street moves such as bunny hops as the rise akes it easier to pull up the front end other than that its all preference Edited September 27, 2006 by andy h

Ra964
so from another point of view: when u get used to a flatbar the riser seems like shite, i use a brisa elite flatbar and if i get on a bike with a flatbar it seems to me like my hands are droping from the bars....if u can get right the angle of a flatbar it`s just great , u should try using both of them on different bikes to see wich suites u betterbtw if you like to ride naturals i strongly recomend a flatbar if u ride streety u can easealy use a risebar
